Description
This guitar course is designed to show you how you to use the whole entire guitar neck to solo, improvise and jam with the greatest of ease! The pentatonic scale is by far the most popular and useful scale to know for any style of music, especially rock. However what usually happens with players after they learn it, is that they feel “boxed in” and don’t know how to play notes outside of the pattern.Since the pentatonic scale is made up of 5 notes, we can learn 5 different patterns (The minor pentatonic being one of them) and once we know how they are relate to each other, you can use these 5 patterns to expand what notes will work for any given song, jam or groove your playing. This course will teach you all 5 patterns, as well as 5 different licks which are built from each pattern. By the time you are done with this course you will understand how to “connect the dots” and move fluently between patterns and licks so that you no longer feel confined to one small pattern. We provide scale charts and tabs to go along with each lesson and also show you how to practice them with backing tracks.
