英国游戏发行商Eutechnyx今天向外界宣布，其公司目前正在开发一款基于Games Workshop游戏公司旗下《战锤40K》游戏世界为背景故事的MOBA网游，名为《Warhammer 40,000:Storm of Vengeance》(暂译：复仇风暴)。

　　据了解，这款游戏计划于2014年在PC和移动平台发布，Eutechnyx公司将《Storm of Vengeance》称之为一款“路线战略游戏”，游戏风格不是像原版《战锤40K》的世界一样充满了恶魔，而是以黑暗、哥特风为主。

　　《Storm of Vengeance》的设定将以标准的《战锤40K》游戏事件为基础，与Relic公司的经典即时战略系列游戏《战锤40K：战争黎明》完全不同，讲述了发生在Piscina IV星球上的战争的故事，其中所包含的两大特色型人物是： Belial和Ghazghkull Thraka。玩家在进行游戏时，可以在两大阵营中做出选择，黑暗天使和兽人。

Storm of Vengeance (BETA) is a lane strategy game for PC and mobile devices set in the dark, gothic universe of Warhammer 40,000.

Storm of Vengeance tells the story of a pivotal moment in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, during the legendary planetary conflict on Piscina IV. Featuring two of Games Workshop’s most cherished characters, Grand Master Belial and Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Thraka, Storm of Vengeance offers the player the chance to command the tenacious defence of the planet with only 100 Dark Angel Space Marines, or attempt it’s annihilation using the cunning of the Ork Waaagh! and their telly-porta technology.

In BETA, the developers are currently seeking as much feedback from the community as possible to make this the absolute best game possible when it is fully launched.
