For the handling of components consisting of a single part or of assemblies, transitions and connections, special libraries are available and can be expanded to accommodate as many of your own parametric components as well.

The new version SheetMetalWorks 2017 is now released, again coming with many improvements. Outstanding highlight is the new function of “tongue and groove”, which helps the sheet metal designer to position a sheet metal part. The geometry of a tongue can be represented by the shapes rectangle and trapezoid. Circle reliefs, chamfers or fillets can also be added. Examples of forms of grooves are the rectangle, the oblong or a half an oblong. In addition, fillets or reliefs can be added.
