Easy Disk Catalog Maker 除了可以扫描、索引一般文件与文件夹之外，还可扫描压缩文件内部的文件清单让我们日后找资料时更精确、方便，支持的压缩包括：.001,.7z,.arj,.bz2,.bzip2,.cab,.cpio,.dmg,.deb,.gz,.gzip,.hfs,.lzh,.lzma,.iso,.tar,.tbz,.tbz2,.rar,.rpm,.vhd,.wim,.zip…等。
除此之外，还提供了光盘所在位置的标示、管理功能，并提供光盘租借管理等功能，可以在每张光盘的信息页面中设定联络人资讯、借还日期与全部出借记录…等等，相当特别也相当实用。
