真菌世界和很多动作类小游戏不一样，这个游戏是很恬静的策略类游戏。画面十分美好。
简单来说就是生产发展-探索其他星球-让你的蓝色遍布整个小行星带。
当然也会遇到敌人（灰色的飞行物），你可以在星球上造攻击性树木来抵御敌人。
每个新行星上能种5棵树（分为两种：攻击型和生产型），每棵树需要15个你的飞行物。
