游戏的3D画面表现不错，场景的细节和角色的动作都较精细。操作很简单，在游戏开始时将各种帮助小鸟到达终点的道具放置到场景上，再点击小鸟前的按钮打开笼子，让小鸟向终点奔跑即可。道具的种类很丰富，比如可以改变小鸟行动路线的沙袋，使小鸟可以越过危险障碍的跳板，增加移动速度的跑道，以及弹床等等道具。注意道具使用的次数有限，如何有效的利用好道具就是过关的关键。
遇到难关不要着急，点击画面上方的问号可以使用求助功能，系统就会自动给出一个提示，并且在场景中用标志表示出来，玩家依照这些标志进行道具的摆放就可以比较顺利的过关了。游戏共有三大章节共45个任务等着玩家挑战，在通过每个任务后系统也会根据玩家的成绩给出相应的评价。
游戏的系统很别致，在关卡中收集到的金币可以用来玩菜单选项中的街机模式，里面有一些复古风的小游戏。本作并不考验玩家即时的反映，只需要思考并放置好机关，很好的控制了游戏的节奏，喜欢轻松益智类游戏的玩家不要错过噢。
