Siemens, a leading technology company, is introducing the latest version of the Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal V20 Update 1. The engineering framework is designed for improving industrial automation processes. By simplifying workflows and increasing efficiency, it enables faster project development.
Status 02/2025: TIA Portal V20 Update 1
These updates are valid for the following products in the TIA Portal:
– STEP 7 Basic/Professional V20
– WinCC Basic/Comfort/Professional/Unified V20
Installation notes:
– The updates are cumulative and include all previous updates.
– The latest security updates are always included in the newest update. Older updates will not be updated in this regard.
– The update can only be installed if one of the above-mentioned products is already installed.
– After installing the update for WinCC, also install the appropriate update for the HMI devices (HMI Panel Image).
– After each installation of STEP 7 V20 or WinCC V20, we recommend installing the latest update.
TIA Portal is a software and tools package developed by Siemens, which aims to integrate multiple development tools for automation devices from the unification and remodelling of preexisting software such as Simatic Step 7, Simatic WinCC, and Sinamics Starter. The environments are responsible for programming, developing, and configuring Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and frequency inverters.
