DS Catia-Delmia-Enovia V5-6R2017 SP4 Update

Dassault Systemes, has released an update (SP4) to DS CATIA/DELMIA/ENOVIA V5-6R2017. This release continues the evolution of the 3DS Version 5 Portfolio, to improve user productivity and overall usability of the products, support the latest versions of Operating systems and Middleware, and allow even smoother transition to 3DEXPERIENCE.

About V5-6R2017 release. V5-6R2017 continues the evolution of the 3DS Version 5 Portfolio, to improve user productivity and overall usability of the products, support the latest versions of Operating systems and Middleware, and allow even smoother transition to 3DEXPERIENCE.

The release emphasizes the continuous strengthening of compatibility and synchronization between V5 and V6, as well as the enrichment of V5 solutions with select V6 technology.

CATIA users benefit from more than 80 enhanced capabilities, delivering new functionality in key areas to drive productivity and interoperability including enhancements in Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Class A, Imagine and Shape, Composites, 3DMaster, and a new Product “Composites Laser Projection”. Many of these enhancements are delivered to support coexistence between V5-6R2017 and 3DEXPERIENCE R2017x.

ENOVIA Introduces a new Web based user interface in ENOVIAvpm 1.10 – ENOVIAvpm Web Access , continuing the transition away from 3DCOM to a more modern user experience, in addition to other performance usability and security enhancements. This new release of ENOVIAvpm solutions reinforces the customer choice of ENOVIAvpm and protects the investment by providing up-to-date operating systems and middleware support.

The DELMIA release V5-6R2017 offers improved flexibility and productivity for users in the Robotics, Ergonomics and Process Planning domains. The new release offers key enhancements such as new robot models in the DELMIA Robot Library for simulation and workcell validation. Other enhancements have been made for delivering work instructions by providing users with increased functionality and improved ease of use. These enhancements and many others are made to provide users with increased productivity and improved usability.
