Smart: EQ 3和前一代一样，将信号统计、心理声学和专家经验结合在一起，分析轨道信号并根据AI的分析进行均衡调整，轻松消除不需要的共振，改善频谱平衡。
从用户界面上看，Smart: EQ 3和先前版本的均衡视图没有什么区别。用户可以使用24种滤波器类型、智能状态和MS处理功能来对信号进行频率处理。但Smart: EQ 3新增了动态模式功能，可以实时自适应音频信号，还可以切换线性相位滤波器和零延迟滤波器。
Smart: EQ 3最大的更新点就是，现在这款均衡器支持跨通道处理，用户可以监听其他轨道的信号，插件会自动调整其他轨道的频谱。类似的插件比如FabFilter Pro-Q 3和Voxengo GlissEQ等都可以监听其他轨道，但用户依然需要手动调整均衡。
Smart: EQ 3全新的Group View提供了拖放界面，用户可以在三个层次结构中对多个轨道进行排列。插件会分析每个轨道的频率掩蔽，并自动给每个轨道规划必要的频谱空间，有效提高整体的均衡处理结果。
