PhoneDirector 1.8.0 MacOSX

PhoneDirector is a tool for phonebook, SMS, gallery and calendar management of Nokia phones, (Series 40 phones are supported, smart and Symbian phones are not supported).

Phonebook
– reading phonebooks from the phone memory and the SIM card
– editing, uploading and deleting phonebook entries
– saving phonebook to a file
– phonebook export as vCards and tab-separated text
– vCards, PhoneManager and tab-separated text import
– importing vCards by dragging them from the Mac desktop to the PhoneDirector phonebook window
– importing contacts directly from Apple Contacts (Address Book)
– dragging contacts from SIM to phone memory phonebook and vice versa
– dragging contacts from PhoneDirector to Apple Contacts (Address Book) and vice versa
– dragging contacts from phonebooks to the Mac desktop as vCards

SMS messages
– SMS management – reading messages from the phone, sending, replying, forwarding, deleting, flash SMS
– direct sending SMS when working with phonebooks
– QuickFind feature for easy finding phonebook entries when sending SMS
– Unicode text SMS messages (international characters)
– SMS export as tab-separated text
– SMS sending to multiple recipients
– SMS saving to archive folders on the hard disk
– SMS printing

To-Do
– adding and editing To-Do items in the phone
– importing To-Do items directly from Apple Calendar
– dragging To-Do items to Apple Calendar
– importing and exporting To-Do items as vCal files

Calendar
– adding and editing calendar events in the phone
– importing calendar events directly from Apple Calendar
– importing vCal files
– importing birthdays directly from Apple Contacts (Address Book)
– exporting calendar events as vCal files
– dragging calendar events to the Mac desktop as vCal files
– dragging calendar events to Apple Calendar
– dragging vCal files to PhoneDirector calendar window

Gallery
– uploading pictures, sounds and videos to the phone – downloading files from the phone is not supported in this version of PhoneDirector, use Apple’s “Bluetooth File Exchange” instead (located in the Applications/Utilities)
– deleting files from the phone
– creating, deleting folders in the phone Gallery
– recording sound, video and grabbing pictures from built-in camera
– converting files to the phone acceptable format
– setting the operator logo and the wallpaper (some network operators may block this feature in the phone firmware, this feature is not supported for newer Series 40 phones)
– creating and editing playlists
– dragging a playlist from iTunes to the Gallery window starts copying the song files from iTunes

Themes
– creating and editing own themes and uploading them to the phone
(for Nokia 6230i, 6233, 6234, 6300, 6500, 6700 classic, 7280, 7380, 8600, 8800)
– Themes features are not supported for the Nokia 8800 Scirocco.

Java
– uploading Java applications to the phone
