Reggae
The development of the new reggae sound in the late 60s, resulted in a new wave of young, dynamic Jamaican record producers making their mark on the island’s music scene. Of these hugely influential music-makers, perhaps the most overlooked today is Alvin ‘G.G.’ Ranglin.
This faultless selection not only demonstrates why Ranglin’s unique approach to music- making proved so popular among Jamaican music fans during the late 60s and early 70s.
