PassMark BurnInTest是一款专用于“烤机”的软件。下载运行该软件，在软件主界面上单击选择“Configuration”菜单中的“Test preferences”，在各个选项卡上逐一设置要检测哪些设备，如果选择检测软盘、光驱等设备，则需要预先插入软盘、光盘。准备好之后，在软件主界面上单击工具栏上绿色的开始按钮，软件将弹出9个窗口（如图9），分别检测CPU、硬盘、声卡、显卡、内存和网卡等主要硬件，甚至还能够检测诸如USB端口、打印机、磁带机、并口、串口等其他周边设备的状态。因而，如果你对系统的稳定性有所怀疑，希望找出最薄弱的环节，则该软件就能够帮助你找出症结之所在。
