独立开发商 Team17 的新作《超越视觉 | 视觉之上 | Beyond Eyes》今年将登上 Xbox One、Steam 平台。游戏讲述一名十岁的失明女孩 Rae 克服失明焦虑，踏上寻觅唯一伙伴的冒险旅程，并发现多彩世界的温婉故事。

Rae 不是天生失明，不是对这个色彩世界一无所知，她还是有些印象有些回忆。在小时候因为一起烟火事故导致失明，也让她留下了童年阴影和精神创伤，从此惧怕声音和公众共场所。Rae 几乎无法离开自己的家，喜欢呆在自己的小花园中，少有人和她交流，不过 Rae 满足现状，尤其是与一只流浪猫 Nani 认识之后。不过某天 Nani 突然失踪，为了寻回唯一的挚友，Rae 鼓起勇气外出，踏上一场改变命运的奇妙冒险旅程。

Rae 遇到的环境目标和障碍，由于她有没有可视化参考，可能只是一些她想象中的东西。例如漏水的生锈管道对她来说可能是一个美丽的喷泉，因为这是最接近她视觉记忆中的东西。

游戏的视觉效果独特，以清新漂亮的水彩风格为主。大部分时候，画面是一片白色，Rae 站在中央。当她走动进入游戏世界，她所听到或触摸到的东西就会以水彩画出渐渐显露。独特的画风到时候又会像 Ori 一样为玩家提供很多漂亮的壁纸素材。

也许对《超越视觉》的最好形容是一段旅程，而不是一个传统的游戏。它没有任何明确的最终目标，虽然找回小猫是 Rae 当初在头脑中的想法。《超越视觉》是关于克服恐惧踏入这个世界，以及透过别人的眼睛看事情的一种体验。
