Peregrine Labs has released Yeti 3.0.3, the last update to its fur, feathers and instancing system for Maya. This update include new capabilities and/or bug fixes that improve the 3.0.0 release.

– tested and built against MtoA 3.1.0 and Arnold 5.2.0.
– full support for MtoA interactive viewport.
– updated Clarisse module to avoid continuously evaluating the procedural if no objects were generated.
– updated to Clarisse 3.6 SP4.
– fixed a bug where braid generation may incorrectly index a guides length causing a segmentation fault.
– made sure redundant Feather and Braid attributes aren’t exposed in the Yeti graph.
– made sure Attribute node supported Braid geometry.
– added _scalar attributes to curve attribute types to support graph based modulation using the Attribute node. These are Float and Constant attribute types.
– updated to Renderman 21.7.
– a Groom’s display color now correctly used when drawing in VP2.0.
– resolved a slight shape offset issue with groom deformation layers.
– integrated 2.2.10 fixes, see 2.2.x.
