How to Paint a Realistic Apple in Watercolor – Step by Step

In this class you will be guided through a detailed step-by-step process to paint a realistic apple in watercolor.
We will begin with the sketching of the apple, then transferring it to watercolor paper using transparent layers to produce a three-dimensional look. You will practice watercolor wet on wet, wet on dry and layering techniques.

The class is geared to people with and without previous experience using watercolor. For the novice there is a section covering an in-depth overview describing watercolor materials and how to make basic color charts for reference.

By the end of the class you will have added visual elements to your artistic vocabulary which can be applied to other creative projects.
