无论从视觉效果，还是玩法上，《破门而入 Door Kickers》跟《冰封触点 Frozen Synapse》都有很多相似点。不过，后者的界面和视效更加抽象。在游戏中，玩家掌管特警队，必须分析清楚形势，规划好路线，协调队员，成功从罪犯手中解救出人质。 游戏非常像现实世界的 CQB近距离作战，当然，只要玩家策略运营得当，也不难通关。
