Description
In this Udemy class I’m going to assume you don’t know anything about Adobe Photoshop… and then teach you a whole bunch of stuff and get you on your way to becoming a Photoshop pro. I’ll take you through my process for creating concept art based on stock photography, and suggest some best practices and tips to help you out! Over the course of 10 video lectures I will show you pretty much every aspect of the application you would need to know in order to become more proficient.
Some general knowledge of computers will come in handy, but this course is meant for someone who is just getting into Adobe Photoshop. You’ll only need two things for this class: A computer and a subscription to the app. And yes, I’m working on a Windows PC. Don’t get snobby with me, Mac users. If you can run Photoshop on your computer, it doesn’t matter what kind of machine you’re using. I have included Mac shortcuts though, whenever possible.
WARNING: This class requires frequent use of the pause button. There’s a reason it exists. You’ve been warned.
This class is also the first part in a longer series where I’ll take the ‘Camp Killer Death Bear’ concept from idea to illustration to animation and beyond. We’re not going to infinity here. None of that nonsense.
Who this course is for:
Absolute beginner designers, hobbyists or aspiring artists.
