Description
In this course we will start by learning about the basics of C#, and we will use them to create a console application.We will then give you the opportunity to learn about SQL and MS SQL Server from beginner to advanced concepts. The SQL parts of the course are optional, and we will provide SQL code that can be used to skip those sections if you prefer to stick to the C# and .NET part of the course.The next section will be focused on building a functional web API with some mock data that we will load to our database. We will create API controllers and endpoints to view, add, edit and delete users and some information about user job info and user salaries.After that we will set up authentication and use a JWT to authenticate and identify a user who is making requests to out API.We will set up a new controller and endpoints to view, add, edit and delete user posts, where we will use our JWT authentication to identify the user writing the posts.When this is all set up, we prepare our application to deploy to Microsoft Azure, where we will deploy our application, and then show you how to delete those resources in Microsoft Azure.The course only uses resources that are available to all operating systems to demonstrate the development flow that can be used on Windows, Linux or Mac.
