《极性》（Polarity）制作者Craig Littler之前曾参与过《极限竞速：地平线》和《机车风暴2》，他表示，他最初的打算是让这部作品成为永久Ouya独占，但如果要独占的话，他多少需要一些额外资金。“我和Ouya进行过关于独占的商谈，但他们的态度比较坚决，所以我认为大多数制作组都不会对Ouya主机有特殊照顾，不会制作独占作品。”
虽然这款游戏最后没能成为Ouya独占，但他推出PC版无疑会有更广泛的受众，游戏已于2014年11月7日登陆steam平台，售价8.99美元。
