《怪鸡传说》是一款动作冒险游戏，一个农夫养了很多小鸡有一天他决定要把这些鸡卖掉或者做成料理来换钱，这时其中一只长相怪异的鸡发现了农夫这个行为，决定要拯救它的伙伴，于是拿了农夫的猎枪跟锤子打破围栏带着许许多多的伙伴逃离这里，并且一路要击退猎狗跟农场中前来捣乱的动物，逃到遥远的地方去。
这款游戏是移植与WII平台，画面采用了3D卡通风格，玲琅满目的场景里布满了各种小动物动物，游戏采用场景中探索解谜的思路，玩家需要留意场景中的道具来拼凑出过关的线索，这款游戏有一定的难度，并且包括单人跟多人的模式，玩家可以跟其他的动物进行对抗。帮助小鸡顺利的避开各种陷阱，打败各种危险的动物成为小鸡们的救星。
