Scanned Synth utilizes a specific and unique form of synthesis that is inspired by advances in digital music theory. It is designed to create rich complex digital tones and fantastic sound effects, while using simplifed controls and traditional synths techniques such as filters, lfo’s and effects.
Scanned Synth Pro uses a model of scanned synthesis that simulates a string of nodes, each of which has a mass but no size. The nodes are connected to each other by springs. There are also springs that pull the nodes towards a particular set of resting positions.
