　　《Outlast》作为Red Barrels工作室的处女作，被定位为一款恐怖生存游戏。正如游戏名称的英文原意一样，玩家要做的就是要在一个危机重重的疯人院中苟延性命，一不小心，你就会被那些如僵尸般强壮而嗜血，却又有着比僵尸高得多的智商的疯子废掉。不像一般的僵尸游戏，你不是要跟这些怪物作战，而是要夺命狂奔，逃出生天。

PROPHET has released “Outlast” for PC. It is a psychological horror video game developed and published by Red Barrels Games, a company founded by people previously involved with video games such as Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell and Uncharted. Game version is v1.0.11795.0.

Description: In the remote mountains of Colorado, horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, has been operating in strict secrecy… until now.

Acting on a tip from an inside source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line being science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.
