EPLAN Harness proD 2.9

EPLAN, the engineering solutions provider, is pleased to announce the availability of EPLAN Harness proD 2.9. This software enables you to automate typical workflows for cabling and wire harness design, including nail board layouts: from transferring connection information from EPLAN Platform and intuitive routing to the creation of manufacturing documentation.

EPLAN Harness proD is a unique stand-alone easy-to-use solution, which enables you to create 3D wire harnesses, 2D nailboards, cable drawings, and reports efficiently and fast. Based on the newest technology, EPLAN Harness proD gives you the confidence to work with an up-to-date wire harness software technology available on the market. EPLAN Harness proD makes wire harness design independent from the availability of the mechanical prototype. Working directly with the 3D MCAD model significantly reduces the costs of development while saving time and money through a shorter development cycle.

EPLAN Harness proD consists of two main modules: EPLAN Harness proD Library and EPLAN Harness proD Studio.

EPLAN Harness proD Studio is a project environment which consists of 3D workspaces, workdesks, 2D nailboards, cable drawings, and reports. This environment enables you to not only create wire harnesses, but also to include additional documentation in the project like e-mails, PDF files, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, etc. Studio is furthermore capable of containing multiple variants, workspaces, workdesks, nailboards, cable drawings, and reports and provides total control over all project-related files.
