From Zbrush hard surface sculpting to clearn topology in Max, learn the top tips and tricks for impressive design.
What you’ll learn
Understand hard surface sculpting in Zbrush at a high level.
Understand retopology in 3DS Max at a high level.
Understand polygon modeling and design in 3DS Max at a high level.
Understand procedural texturing and material creation in V-Ray for Max at a high level.
Requirements
This course is perfect for beginners who want to hit the ground running in Zbrush and Max, as well as intermediate users who want to gain a lot of expert tips and tricks for quick design and clean topology.
Description
This course starts with Zbrush where you will learn how to use a variety of techniques to quickly design and feel out your character. Then jump into 3D Studio Max where you will learn advanced retopology and modeling techniques that allow you to quickly rebuild the sculpt and add even more detail with clean topology that makes your model ready for all uses, from high-end cinematics to baking into game meshes or advertisement or 3D printing or concept design and more. Lastly, you will learn to use V-Ray for 3D Studio Max to quickly assign textures and procedural materials to your objects to achieve impressive renders without having to unwrap and manually texture your models. This allows you to quickly visualize your designs and present them to clients in record time. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as intermediate users. You will get a complete introduction to 3DS Max and how to efficiently retopologize models using automatic as well as manual methods. You will learn advanced polygon-modeling techniques which will serve you well with everyday modeling as well as special situations. You will also learn some advanced Zbrush techniques for hard surface sculpting which are easy, fun and not overwhelming. Overall, this course presents a lot of information without overwhelming you.
