本作是1985年发售的街机游戏《圣铠传说》的重置版。游戏最多支持四人一起游戏，协力对付步兵、幽灵、巫师以及亡灵等等敌人。游戏依然保持着原汁原味的快节奏暴力。游戏中依然会保留原有的四个经典角色职业：战神，法师，瓦尔基里和精灵。
