Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, who reunited with his previous work “Blues for K” (SCOL-1062), and former TBM label engineer Yoshihiko Kaminari. The duo, who have produced numerous Japanese and world-famous albums such as “Midnight Sugar” and “Misty,” recorded this work at Kaminari’s private studio in Nasu Kogen, Tochigi Prefecture, and it has been featured in many audio magazines. It received a lot of attention and high praise, including winning the Jazz Audio Disc Award 2022 Silver Award. And in 2023, Yoshihiko Kaminari will appear at Onkyo House in Tokyo in response to the voice of “I would love to hear it recorded in a professional studio!”! He will once again perform at this representative studio in Japan, where the TBM label once recorded. The song selection is a collection of ballads centered around Errol Garner, whom Tsuyoshi Yamamoto admires. The result was a challenging work for both of them, returning to their roots.
