The violinist and singer Aurore Voilqué offers for the first time an entirely sung repertoire. In this new album, the violinist and singer Aurore Voilqué offers a repertoire entirely sung in French, with a majority of original titles (lyrics and music), including several texts by Boris Bergman (author of Oh Gaby de Bashung, among others), around of a theme with autobiographical resonance: the moods of a woman and an artist in the prime of her age (45 years old), the musician taking the floor to tell her story. In accordance with the content of the album (in the tone of confidence), the musical treatment and arrangements favor acoustic stringed instruments (violin, guitar, double bass), with an intimate dimension which does not exclude a great variety colors and climates (from pop-folk to blues, including swing jazz and gypsy music).
