BestCrypt 是一款能够在Windows系统下有效加密各种介质的本地和网络驱动器。BestCrypt使用加密算法（如：Twofish,Blowfish, Rijndael, GOST28147-89）建立一个预先加密的文件，叫做容器。然后建立一个本地盘。容器被链接到这个本地盘上，这个盘只能通过特定的容器文件密码才能访问。这个磁盘的所有数据都保存于此容器中，并且可以供授权的用户透明访问。
