　　《红色派系 游击战》是一款由Volition开发的科幻射击游戏，本作强调超级破坏性，这款游戏很容易让人想到《宇宙威龙》(Total Recall)这部电影，硬汉战斗主题，红色的火星地表，都给人似曾相识的感觉。在这款游戏中也提供了开放世界的战斗，你可以随意驾驶任何载具，用整个武器库般丰富的武器打倒敌人。另外就是《红色派系》本身最有标志性的破坏性场景。

　　之前的《红色派系》是非常传统的射击游戏，而在这款续作中，将会有很大的改变，它更多地受到了《GTA》和THQ自己的《黑道圣徒》的影响，引入了开放世界的概念，只不过这次你的舞台不是美国城市而是火星。本作的背景时间设定在初代的50年之后，在本作中，玩家扮演的是红色派系反抗军的一员，目标是推翻地球防卫军的统治。游戏刚开始的时候玩家只是一个普通的矿工，由于受到了高压统治因而揭竿而起，初期的武器只有一个大锤，虽然只是近身战斗的武器，但是这个大锤的破坏力还是很高的，用力挥舞一下，就可以砸掉一大块水泥，还可以把建筑物里的整根柱子砸断。然后玩家就会拿到强力武器，例如火箭发射器，又或者是可以到处安置，并且遥控爆炸的炸药包。这些强力武器可以将场景上能够看到的一切都炸毁，绝对具有超强的视觉冲击力，也表现了本作的惊人画面和物理表现力。在迷你地图上，玩家可以看到任务的目标，如果不想像 GTA那样到处晃悠，可以直接前往任务目标。为了提高战斗力，事半功倍地消灭敌人，就要鼓动其他矿工们也加入到战斗中，从地球防卫军那里抢夺武器，成为起义军。

　　游戏中的敌人数量众多，可以看到同屏会有很多的敌人，大大提高了战斗的火爆性。但是弹药的供给也会成为一个大问题，好在玩家可以从敌人尸体的身上捡武器和弹药。而且在载具方面，玩家还可以驾驶巨型机器人作战，还有强力的装甲运输车。

Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Red Faction: Guerrilla re-defines the limits of destruction-based game-play with a huge open-world, fast-paced guerrilla-style combat, and true physics-based destruction.
