本作名为《返乡暗物质》（Redux: Dark Matters），是一款老派的横版飞行射击游戏。由来自NGEV.TEAM的Rene Hellwig，联合KTX Software历时两年开发完成，并交由Hucast Games发行。

游戏提供七个关卡、不同种类的武器、支持双人体验、两种难度、瞬间复活和街机风格的得分系统。此外，还邀请到了Andre Neuman（代表作《异型战机》、《外星悍将》）为本作配乐。
