《机械狂奔（MechRunner）》是Spark Plug Games制作发行的一款动作冒险游戏。游戏故事剧情透露着浓浓的科幻色彩，主要讲述的是1908年6月30日俄罗斯西伯利亚发生了一场天体撞击事件，当时科学家在查探现场后毫无收获。直至40年代中期，一队参观的科学家偶然发现了外星飞船的残骸，这已经远远超越了人类当时的技术。科学家利用这些技术创造了新式攻击武器，然而发生了意外，驾驶着神秘失控了，一场战争危机由此展开。

负责游戏概念设定的是著名画师Josh Nizzi，他曾参与创作《复仇者联盟》，《钢铁侠》，《变形金刚》等电影的设定。因此，Spark Plug Games的副总裁兼艺术总监Ben Lichius可以自信满满的说：“我认为我们有游戏史上细节最丰富，外表最酷炫的机甲。”
