《过山车之星》是《过山车大亨》系列原制作工作室Frontier Developments的原班人马打造推出的一款全新模拟游戏，同时本作也是《过山车大亨》系列的精神续作，游戏继承了前作的很多游戏要素，是一款非常不错的模拟游戏。

相信很多玩家在游乐园都留下过美好的回忆，同时也拥有一个将游乐园搬回家的梦想。虽然我们不能真的把游乐园搬回家，但是却能在《过山车之星（Planet Coaster）》这款模拟游戏中建设属于自己独一无二的游乐园。游乐园最能吸引游客的设备自然就是过山车了，在游戏中玩家就需要建设一座以过山车为主题的豪华游乐园，吸引竟可能多的游客进入游乐园，获得更高的游戏成就。
