由SQUARE-ENIX负责开发的日式RPG大作《最后的遗迹》（The Last Remnant）PC版即将发售，PC版（Games For Windows）将增加多项新特性，其中包括允许玩家自行选择日语或英语语音，改善的动画表现，PC版将会更流畅和更快速的战斗。XBOX360版已于2008年11月20日发售。《最后的遗迹》采用“Unreal Engine 3”次世代3D游戏引擎所开发，以细致美丽的即时3D绘图方式呈现出独特的奇幻游戏世界；游戏融合中古欧洲与蒸气庞克风格的世界观设定，有4个种族活跃于此世界中，同时并有由远古所流传下来、被称为“遗迹（Remnant）”的物体遍布在世界各地，人类的城镇基本上是围绕著遗迹建立，最初展开冒险的阿斯兰姆是以巨大的剑型遗迹为中心，之后还将遇到包括巨型昆虫遗迹、巨型水球遗迹等不同遗迹。
