由Fealcell Games制作、Microsoft Game Studios发行的动作冒险游戏《疯狂扭曲的阴影星球》(Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet)已于去年8月登陆Xbox 360。根据ESRB最近更新的游戏列表透露，该作也将登陆PC。
该作是一款结合了动作冒险与益智解谜二种要素而成的游戏，在这里没有多余的音乐特效，更没有光彩夺目的爆破特效，却使用了简单的卡通风格勾勒出生动的场景、模组，同时搭配充满诡谲多变的交响乐，呈现出类似早期米老鼠的长篇动画影片。游戏中，玩家会驾驶着一部搭载各种高科技装备的飞碟，沿路清除星球上的深色孢子生物，并破解多种令人绞尽脑汁的解谜关卡，进而恢复星球原始的样貌。
游戏的操控方式非常简单，玩家仅需使用手把的左类比杆移动飞船，同时闪避生物体所发射的孢子，或者是扳动右类比杆来调整武器发射的方向，以及按下RB键来切换使用雷射枪、扫瞄器、锯片、抓钩等武器，来突破冒险过程中所面临的难关。当然，随著危机一步步地逼近，玩家所取得的每一种武器也各自有不同的功能，拿游戏一开始就装备在飞船上的扫瞄器来说，它是在冒险的旅途中唯一能跟玩家沟通的工具，当遭遇到卡关或无法杀掉的敌人时，可利用扫瞄器来扫瞄场景与敌人，扫瞄器会以图示的方式来提示玩家接下来的处理方法。
