About Geomagic Sculpt 2019. This software created by 3D Systems allows 3D designers to take their projects to a new level, with the combination of Geomagic Sculpt and the Touch haptic stylus which takes ‘being connected’ to a very literal level, and allows you to work on 3D designs in a very intuitive atmosphere, with printability guaranteed.
You have the best of both worlds in that Geomagic Sculpt allows you freedom to create intuitively, while you also have the functional models provided by CAD. Geomagic will work in parallel with your existing CAD system, but it also permits you to break free of those limits, affording you the luxury to sculpt previously unimaginable designs and produce detailed, organic aesthetics.
Called 3D design software ‘that you can touch,’ Sculpt allows you to make natural, curvy designs that are enhanced with the arm, or stylus that allows you to work directly on the design screen. No longer operating under the constraints of the mouse, you can feel what you are designing — and that should be very compelling for confidence in making complex designs.
Offering ‘precise positioning input and instant force feedback that mimics the sense of physical sculpting,’ the Touch 3D stylus gives you more control, and a sense of feeling what you are designing. The user employs the haptic stylus, or arm, gaining the ability to ‘harness the power of virtual clay.’
With the intuitive nature of Sculpt and the haptic arm being used together, you will feel like you are truly manipulating the material, and working with complicated geometrical designs is much less challenging. The software also gives you the ability to refine the most minute details of your design and to create flourishes which would not be possible with CAD.
In a comprehensive package, you not only have all of the wonderful features and freedom of the new software, but it also makes life a lot easier by eliminating uncertainty, as the software checks for issues that would keep your design from printing, so that you can make necessary changes ahead of time.
