Limited Edition 41-CD set presenting Alicia de Larrocha’s complete Decca & American Decca recordings Including previously unreleased recordings of Grieg and Albéniz and 2 CDs of de Larrocha’s early Hispavox (EMI/Warner) Madrid recordings of piano encores. Alicia de Larrocha’s interpretations of Spanish piano music remain the gold standard – highlights include: Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain, Albéniz’ Ibéria, and Granados’ Goyescas.

120pp perfect bound book features Introductions from Alicia Torra (daughter) and André Previn, a new essay by Jed Distler: Vitality, Generosity and Joy: The Art of Alicia de Larrocha, an excerpt from new and only available biography of Ms Larrocha by Mònica Pagès and many unseen photographs and facsimiles from Alicia’s private collection and Decca’s archives.

All the albums within are presented in original cover art and benefit from wallets with a legible description on the spine for ease of navigation. The 2-piece rigi box has a matt finish.
