The Tekla team introduced new update version of its software for structural engineering, fabrication and construction teams—Tekla Structures 2018 SP6. This update contain new features, and improvements and fixes to existing features.
About Tekla Structures 2018. Tekla Structures is a building information modeling software able to model structures, such as high-rise office or residential buildings. This software is widely used in the building and construction industries for steel and concrete detailing, precast and cast in-situ. The software enables users to create and manage 3D structural models in concrete or steel, and guides them through the process from concept to fabrication.Tekla allows structural drafters and engineers to design a building structure and its components using 3D modeling, generate 2D drawings and access building information.
Tekla Structures 2018 has been updated for greater speed and efficiency.
This version of the BIM modeling software, Tekla Structures 2018, is designed to be faster and more precise and offer greater control. The software is also meant to be more efficient in terms of workflow. Tekla Structures 2018 now supports point clouds, making it possible to create designs that fit with existing structures. Other updates include quicker drawing “with less effort,” according to the company. The workflow from design to analysis is also meant to be smoother.
